Every day we will strive to earn your loyalty by offering you a peaceful haven from the demands of daily life that harm your skin and body, drain your energy and punish your psyche.

At Essence we have assembled talented expert estheticians, massage therapists, nail technicians and certified health practitioners. We use the spa industry's most state-of-the-art equipment; we also use and carry the very best skin care products in the world for your treatments. We have brought technology, training and quality together in a quiet, Zen-like atmosphere.

We thank you for your patronage and appreciate your business. Our policies are designed to ensure your comfort. Please let our Spa Concierge know how we can make your visit as pleasurable as possible.

Scheduling an Appointment
Enjoy our convenient online appointment booking system, which can be secured by credit card. In-person appointments are encouraged before your exit from the Spa and are welcomed by phone. After hours messages will be returned during the next day of business. We will strive to do our best to accommodate walk-ins.

Arrival & Spa Concierge
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can remove your coat, tuck away your bag and allow our Spa Concierge to review your services and offer you a refreshing beverage. Late arrivals will unfortunately result in your services being shortened or rescheduled to accommodate you to the best of our ability. Please try to be mindful of time as others are also working on a set schedule.

Children
For the comfort and safety of all, children are not permitted at Essence, unless they are scheduled for a treatment. Anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. To maintain our peaceful atmosphere, we kindly ask you to make alternative care arrangements for your children so that so you and others can enjoy a quiet Spa day.

Courtesies
The Medway Wellness Center is a non-smoking facility, inside and out. Cell phones, iPods, notebook computers, PDAs and other portable electronic devices are not conducive to relaxation. Enjoy your personal time and please turn them off. Essence clients appreciate privacy; we ask that you respect this as you pass clients at our spa.

Pricing
Prices for services or products may change without notice. Please confirm pricing at the time you book your appointment.

Liability
Essence MedSpa is not responsible for your personal property, so please bring a minimum of personal belongs that can be carried with you during movement to different treatment rooms. All services will be performed to the highest standards of prevailing health regulations.

Payment & Gratuities
Payment in full is expected at the time of service. We accept most major credit cards (V, MC, AX). Checks with proper identification will be accepted (returned checks will include a $25 processing fee). Your service provider works hard to satisfy every client and appreciates your recognition of their effort. If you would like to convey your appreciation for a satisfactory service, Essence offers private gratuity envelopes; our Spa Concierge will ensure that yours is given to the intended service provider. Gratuities may be paid in cash or by personal check, but they cannot be added to debit or credit card transactions. Groups of four (4) or more are assessed a standard 20 percent gratuity.

Refunds
Gift certificate card purchases are non-refundable; unused balances can be applied toward a future service or product (not a gratuity).
